Ora c'e' a disposizione un forum per discutere (quasi una chat, visto che fa continuamente il refresh). Potrebbe essere utile se usato da chi si trova qui' in vacanza o sta per arrivare per chiedere info a chi e' qui' in questo momento.

per motivi genetici, vengo al lago da un eternita'.
Ci sono tante belle cose da vedere, e' un posto favoloso, ma devo dire che il Comasco e' il buco nero della gastronomia italiana.
Ho ragione? Non ho ragione? I missoltini? la polenta? che cosa dite voi?
Apologies for the rubbish Italian....
I've been going to Lake Como for genetic reasons since the Dark Ages. It's a fabulous place, but let's face it, the food is rubbish.
Come on, folks - polenta with everything? Are there any decent restaurants in the area? Or am I right in thinking that the Como region is the black hole of Italian Gastronomy? let's all share our favourite places ( and our most hated - I dare you!!) OK, so I take after my grandmother, whose signature dish was polenta with boiled chicken, so I can't really throw stones, but really, when we eat out, we have a competition to see who has the lousiest meal. And the service! Don't get me started on that.....
Am afraid I can't reveal myself, not yet anyway, as someone will hunt me down if I name names....
looking foward to a heated debate - which is more than I can say for some of the meals I've had......
